Biography
David Nishri was a young man whose life was cut short during the turbulent years of the 1930s in Palestine. Though his years were few, he lived during a pivotal moment in Jewish history, witnessing the growth and challenges of the emerging Yishuv.
Nishri's memory is preserved among those who rest in Trumpeldor cemetery, a place honoring the pioneers and builders of the Jewish community in Palestine during its foundational years.
