Biography

Deacon McGuire, born in 1863, was both a servant-leader and a spiritual guide who inspired many at Riverside through his integrity, steadfast faith, and commitment to lifting the spirits of the weary. He led by example, visiting the ill, encouraging youth, and nurturing faith communities with calm compassion.

When he died in 1936, he was laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, where the echoes of his steady devotion continue to reassure those who follow in his footsteps.
