Biography

Denise-Françoise Lucas was a woman whose life extended across much of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, witnessing significant historical transformations. Her long existence spanned a period of considerable change in French society and culture.

Lucas was ultimately laid to rest at the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, one of the most prestigious burial grounds in France. Her final resting place reflects the respect accorded to her memory and the significance of her life within her community.
