Biography

Diego Novillo Quiroga was an Argentine lyricist born in 1899 who made important contributions to Argentine musical and literary culture. His lyrical compositions reflected the artistic sensibilities and cultural values of early-to-mid twentieth century Argentina.

Novillo Quiroga's work as a lyricist helped define the sound and sentiment of Argentine popular music during his era. He passed away in 1950 and was interred at La Chacarita Cemetery in Buenos Aires.
