Ding Youjun

Biography

Ding Youjun (1931–1950) was a young schoolchild whose life was cut tragically short during a turbulent period in Chinese history. Though his years were few, his memory has been preserved as a testament to the innocence lost during the upheavals of the mid-twentieth century.

Ding Youjun's brief existence is commemorated at Ding Youjun's Cemetery, a place dedicated to preserving his memory. His story represents the countless young lives affected by the historical events that shaped modern China.
