Biography
Dmitriy Georgievitsj Parfjonov arrived in the world in 1919 in Daugavpils, and his early years were shaped by the hope of a free Latvia and the challenges it faced. His community saw in him a devoted son ready to contribute whenever needed.
He was lost in 1941, at the very outset of the conflict, but those who knew him remember him as a young man of promise who stood with determination alongside his neighbors.
