Biography

Dolph Camilli was born in 1907 and became one of baseball’s most formidable sluggers of the 1930s and 1940s, winning the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 1941 with the Brooklyn Dodgers.

He remained a beloved figure among fans and teammates for his leadership on and off the field, and his memory is honored at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
