Biography

Don Burroughs built a reputation as a tough, thoughtful defensive back during his years in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles, earning respect for his quiet leadership on the field.

After he retired from professional football he remained close to the sport, mentoring young players and serving as a steady presence for his family and local athletic programs, and he is laid to rest at Bardsdale Cemetery.
