Biography

Don Mueller patrolled the outfield for the New York Giants with sure-handed skill and a smooth left-handed swing, contributing to the team's success through the 1940s and 1950s. He was a member of the 1954 World Series champions and earned a reputation as a dependable contact hitter who could rise to the occasion.

After retiring from the major leagues he remained connected to the game, sharing his love for baseball with young players and neighbors in the St. Mary's area. His calm demeanor and competitive spirit left an impression that went far beyond the diamond.
