Biography

Dora Sandoe Bachman, born in 1869, lived through the emergence of new opportunities for women and bore witness to much social change. She engaged with her community’s needs and shared in the hopeful spirit of the progressive era.

Her memory resides at Green Lawn Cemetery, whose gardens honor her life and the warmth she brought to those around her.
