Douglass Boardman

Biography

Douglass Boardman (1822-1891) rose to prominence as a respected lawyer and jurist whose thoughtful judgments and mentorship helped guide the practice of law across the Ithaca region.

He also served as a devoted educator, welcoming young advocates into the profession and leaving a legacy of integrity honored by those who pause at Ithaca City Cemetery.
