Biography
Rabbi Dov Berish Weidenfeld (1881–1965) brought the depth of his Eastern European yeshiva training to the emerging communities of the Yishuv, offering guidance and halakhic insight to generations facing the challenges of building Jewish life anew. He was sought after for counsel on matters of ritual and ethics, and his gentle leadership helped steady families in times of uncertainty.
He remained devoted to study and teaching until the end of his days, and his memory endures among the students and congregants who benefited from his wisdom; he is buried on Har HaMenuchot.
