Dudley Selden

Biography

Dudley Selden, born in 1794, took up the responsibilities of public office with energy, representing New York in Congress and advocating for the betterment of his state and the fledgling republic.

After his death in 1855 he was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, leaving behind a record of earnest service and respect for the democratic ideals he upheld.
