Biography

Dwight Baldwin (1798–1886) came to Hawaii as a missionary physician attached to Kawaiahaʻo Church, bringing medical care to the islands and serving in an era of rapid change.

He faithfully tended to the sick, helped build schools, and cultivated food for the communities he served, and his grave rests on the grounds of Kawaiahaʻo Church.
