Dwight Hamilton Baldwin (1821-1899) turned a small music shop into a national enterprise, bringing the warmth of piano music into countless homes and schools across the United States.

He was remembered as much for his generosity in supporting musical education as for his business acumen, and he is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery where the melodies he championed continue to resonate.
