Eda Hurd Lord

Biography

Eda Hurd Lord was a woman of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries who maintained strong family ties and community connections throughout her long life. She witnessed and lived through decades of American social, cultural, and technological change.

Mrs. Lord is remembered for her devotion to family and her presence in her community over many decades. She rests at Lake Forest Cemetery, where her memory is honored and preserved for future generations.
