Edit Szikszay

Biography

Edit Szikszay, born in 1924, devoted her life to the primary schools of Őriszentpéter, where she guided generations of children with patience and a belief in the power of education. Her classroom was a place of warmth and discipline, and she encouraged every pupil to explore their talents, making sure no one felt overlooked.

Even after she passed in 1997, her former students and colleagues remember the subtle strength of her example and the countless small victories she nurtured; her memory remains alive among the families she served in the community.
