Biography

Edmund Bacon, born the same year the Declaration was signed, spent his life in Edgefield Village tending fields and keeping the bonds of community strong as the young nation found its footing in the South.

He shared the harvest with neighbors, supported families through seasons of both plenty and hardship, and served as a steady mentor whose calm presence remains remembered near Edgefield Village Cemetery.
