Biography
Edmund Needham Morrill, a veteran of the Civil War, answered the call to public service by representing Kansas in Congress and later serving as governor, always keeping in mind the needs of the people who tilled the prairies.
He balanced his devotion to agriculture with thoughtful governance, earning respect for his earnest approach to leadership, and his resting place is at Mount Hope Cemetery.
