Biography

Eduard Černý was a Czech resident of the late 19th and early 20th centuries who lived through a period of significant national and cultural transformation. Born in 1855, he witnessed the evolution of Czech society under Austro-Hungarian rule.

Černý's life concluded in 1915, and he was laid to rest in the venerable Vyšehrad cemetery, Prague's most distinguished burial ground. His final resting place reflects the respect accorded to him within his community.
