Edward A. Miller

Biography

Edward A. Miller brought boundless curiosity to every walk along the Maine coast, never tiring of the tides, the birdcalls, and the stories cast ashore by Castine's long maritime tradition. He welcomed friends with an easy laugh, loved to draw the ships he watched from the harbor, and inspired others with the brightness of his imagination.

Though he was taken far too soon, Edward is remembered for his infectious enthusiasm, his thoughtfulness toward others, and the way he made even the flush of a summer day feel like an adventure; he now rests at Castine Cemetery.
