Biography

Edward C. Hayes (1868-1928) devoted himself to lifelong learning and to helping others find their footing in a world of rapid change. He valued earnest study and shared the fruits of his curiosity with students and neighbors alike.

Friends remember him for his patience and kindness, for the thoughtful advice he offered, and for the simple, quiet ways he made each day better for those around him; today, Riverside Cemetery holds a place of remembrance for his loyal and gentle service.
