Biography
Edward Dorszewski was a Polish military officer born in 1911 who represented a younger generation of Poland's armed forces. Despite his relative youth, he had already established himself as a committed member of the military establishment during the late 1930s.
Dorszewski's promising career was cut short in 1940 when he was killed at Katyn. He is remembered at the Katyn Polish War Cemetery, where his name preserves the memory of Poland's military sacrifice during World War II.
