Biography

Edward Dwyer was a British military serviceman who answered the call to duty during the First World War. Born in 1895, he represented the generation of young men who volunteered or were conscripted to serve in the conflict that reshaped Europe.

Dwyer's service was brief but consequential, as he died in 1916 during the height of the war. He was laid to rest at Flatiron Copse Cemetery, a solemn memorial to the countless soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Great War.
