Biography
Edward Green Bradford devoted his legal mind to the orderly administration of justice, serving Delaware in private practice and on the federal bench with an unwavering sense of fairness. His colleagues turned to him for clear judgment, especially during the tumult of postwar reconstruction when the law emerged as a stabilizing force.
Beyond the courthouse he took part in civic life, lending his experience to church and charitable causes while remaining a thoughtful presence in his community. He now rests at Old Swedes Churchyard, a reminder of the quiet dignity with which he performed his duties.
