Edward L. Blackshear

Biography

Edward L. Blackshear was born in 1862 and made his home in Hempstead, where he quietly supported neighbors and friends through a period of rapid growth. Though some details of his early life remain unknown, his devotion to courtesy and steady service was unmistakable.
