Biography
Edward Logsdail joined the air force during a time of great upheaval, embracing the responsibilities of an officer with quiet bravery. His days were spent above the clouds and among the ground crews, where he earned respect for his calm judgment and technical skill.
After the conflict he remained committed to his comrades, sharing lessons from his service and advocating for modern training and safety measures, leaving a mark on the fledgling air service and the community around Whyteleafe who mourned him when he passed in 1923.
