Biography
Edward Moulton-Barrett maintained his estates and the disciplined household that would nurture a remarkable literary talent, ensuring that his children received opportunities for education and refinement even as he navigated the demands of distant plantations.
He spent his final years in Ledbury, and he now rests near the churchyard at St Michael and All Angels, its detached Bell Tower marking the place where his family assembled in worship.
