Edward Payson Roe

Biography

Edward Payson Roe, born in 1838, belonged to the generation that witnessed the crucial transformations of the mid-19th century. He spent his days contributing to the welfare of his family and neighbors, carrying himself with the dignity and resolve expected of men of his time.

He now rests among other cherished souls in Willow Dell Cemetery, cherished for the calm presence he lent to those around him until his passing in 1888.
