Biography

Ekaterine (1892-1938) was a Russian woman whose life was shaped by the revolutionary upheaval and social transformation of the early twentieth century. She lived through the collapse of the Imperial order and the establishment of Soviet rule, experiencing firsthand the dramatic changes that reshaped Russian society.

Ekaterine was executed at the Butovo firing range in 1938, during the final and most intense phase of Stalin's Great Purge. Her death represents one of the countless victims of state terror who perished in this dark chapter of Soviet history.
