Elek Peregriny devoted himself to the written word, crafting prose that preserved the voices and values of his time while inviting readers to consider a more reflective, humane society.
Though he passed in 1885, his wise and patient contributions remain part of Hungary’s literary heritage, and he rests with other luminaries at Fiume Road Graveyard.
