Biography

Eleonore of Stolberg-Wernigerode (1801–1827) was a member of the German noble House of Stolberg-Wernigerode, a family with considerable historical prominence in Central Europe. Her brief life of twenty-six years was lived during the post-Napoleonic period, a time of significant political reorganization and cultural development across Europe.
