Eliézer Shohat (1874–1971) cherished the pastoral rhythms of Nahalal and built a life shaped by tireless care for the community around him. He believed in the power of quiet service, offering his energy to neighbors in need and keeping the ideals of rural solidarity vibrant.

The Nahalal cemetery now marks his resting place, where successive seasons of grain fields recall the steadiness with which he tended both land and human ties.
