Elisabeth Karr

Biography

Elisabeth Karr was a Hungarian writer whose literary works contributed to the cultural and intellectual life of twentieth century Hungary. Her writing reflected the artistic sensibilities and literary movements of her era.

Karr pursued a career in letters, establishing herself as a notable figure in Hungarian literary circles. She remained dedicated to her craft until her death in 1960. She was laid to rest at Farkasréti Cemetery in Budapest, where her literary legacy is remembered.
