Elisabeth Prescott Daggett

Biography

Elisabeth Prescott Daggett (1752–1813) lived during the formative years of the United States, witnessing the American Revolution and the establishment of the young nation. She made her home in Connecticut and was laid to rest in Grove Street Cemetery, a burial ground of historical significance.

As a woman of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Daggett's life reflected the experiences of her era, and her memory is preserved among the notable individuals interred in one of America's most distinguished cemeteries.
