Elisha Bacon Wilcox

Elisha Bacon Wilcox, born in 1795, embodied the early pioneer spirit, combining practical ingenuity with a love for family gatherings that kept the Wilcox household warm with laughter.

In later years he reflected on the years gone by with gratitude, and when he passed in 1881 his descendants interred him at Wilcox Cemetery, where his story remains a touchstone for kin who still tend the graves.
