Elisha Ticknor

Biography

Elisha Ticknor was born in 1757 and lived during one of the most significant periods in American history. He came of age during the Revolutionary War and witnessed the establishment of the new nation and its early development.

Ticknor passed away in 1821 at the age of sixty-four and was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery. His life reflected the experiences of those who lived through the founding era and the early years of the American republic.
