Elisha Warfield

Biography

Elisha Warfield (1744–1818) arrived as a settler and landowner who helped shape the rolling landscape of Lexington, establishing roots that would support generations to come. His vision and care for the land fostered growth at a time when the frontier demanded courage and perseverance.

In Lexington Cemetery, he is remembered as an early caretaker of the community, a figure whose work in cultivating both land and relationships sustained the young settlement’s promise.
