Biography
Eliza Willing Spring (1791–1825) lived a brief but meaningful life during the early decades of the American republic. Born in the years following independence, she came of age during a period of national growth and development in the young United States.
Though her life was cut short at thirty-four years of age, Eliza was part of the fabric of her community. She was interred in Common Street Cemetery, where she rests among the citizens who contributed to the life of her town.
