Elizabeth Jane Morrell

Biography

Elizabeth Jane Morrell was a botanical collector whose scientific interests and dedication to plant study contributed to botanical knowledge during the nineteenth century. Her work in collecting and documenting plant specimens reflected the growing interest in natural history of her era.

Morrell passed away in 1949 and was laid to rest at Greenough Pioneer Cemetery, where her contributions to botanical study are remembered.
