Biography
Elizaveta Petrovna Konovnicyna (1802–1867) was a Russian noblewoman who lived through a transformative period in Russian history. As a member of the aristocracy, she participated in the cultural and social life of Russian nobility during the reigns of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and the early years of Alexander II.
Her life exemplified the refined world of the Russian gentry in the 19th century. She was interred at Donskoe Cemetery in Moscow, a burial place befitting her status and the respect accorded to her family and social position.
