Elvira Zulueta

Biography

Elvira Zulueta (1871–1917) was a member of the Basque aristocracy whose life reflected the social prominence and cultural engagement characteristic of her station. Living during a transformative period in Spanish history, she navigated the complexities of her era with the dignity befitting her aristocratic heritage.

Zulueta's memory is preserved in the Cemetery of Santa Isabel in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where she rests among other notable figures of Basque society. Her life exemplified the cultural and social traditions of the Basque nobility.
