Biography
Emil Jiroušek was born in 1911 and represented a younger generation of Czechs who came of age during the interwar period. His life, though brief, occurred during a time of significant historical consequence for the Czech nation and all of Europe.
Jiroušek's memory is preserved among those of his generation. He died in 1941 and was buried at Cemetery in Prosek, remembered as part of the Czech experience during this turbulent era.
