Biography

Émile Coué was a French pharmacist and psychologist who pioneered the study of suggestion and autosuggestion as therapeutic tools. His development of the Coué method, based on optimistic autosuggestion, represented a significant contribution to early twentieth-century psychology and therapeutic practice.

Coué's scientific work influenced psychological and medical thought throughout Europe and beyond. His innovative approaches to mental wellness and personal development established him as a notable figure in the history of psychology. He is interred in the cimetière du sud in Nancy, where his memory is preserved among other distinguished contributors to science and learning.
