Biography

Émile Vuillermoz (1878–1960) was a distinguished French writer and music critic whose contributions to French cultural life spanned several decades. His work reflected the artistic sensibilities of the Belle Époque and subsequent periods, engaging with both literary and musical developments of his time.

Vuillermoz's long life allowed him to witness and document the evolution of French culture through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He was cremated and interred at the Crématorium-columbarium du Père-Lachaise, a fitting tribute to his status as a respected cultural figure in Parisian intellectual circles.
