Biography

Emilian Konstanty Skiwski was a Polish printer whose work in the printing trade supported the dissemination of knowledge and culture throughout nineteenth-century Warsaw. His contributions to the mechanical arts were essential to the intellectual life of the period.

Skiwski's profession as a printer placed him among those craftsmen whose labor enabled the spread of ideas and literature. He was interred at Powązki Cemetery, a testament to his place in Warsaw's professional community.
