Biography
Emma Ostberg was born in 1873 and lived a life spanning seven decades of European history. She experienced the rapid changes of the modern era before her death in Terezín in 1943, during one of history's most tragic periods.
Emma's 70 years of life encompassed tremendous social and political transformation. She is honored at the National Cemetery in Terezín, where her memory is preserved among those who suffered during the Holocaust.
