Biography
Enoch L. Johnson, born in 1883, rose to prominence as the political boss and racketeer whose influence shaped Atlantic City's boardwalk and entertainment offerings during the Prohibition era.
While his methods drew both admiration and criticism, he remained a central figure in the city's mid-century story, and after his passing in 1968 he was interred at Zion Cemetery.
