Biography
Enoch Light combined his training as a percussionist and conductor to form the Light Brigade, eventually pioneering the audiophile sound of Command Records through meticulously arranged instrumental albums that showcased the promise of stereo.
He guided sessions with engineers to capture crisp detail and lush orchestration, leaving recordings that continue to delight listeners, and he is interred at Umpawaug Cemetery.
