Erastus Snow

Biography

Erastus Snow (1818–1888) followed the call to apostleship with a missionary heart, opening Scandinavia to the gospel, organizing branches abroad, and inspiring generations of Saints with his steady testimony.

Back in Utah he assisted in the southern settlements, encouraging pioneers to cultivate their fields and communities, and his grave in Salt Lake City Cemetery marks a lifetime devoted to both the spiritual and temporal welfare of the Church.
